Jared Williams

Hello, my name is Jared and I’m the bass player and I also play synth and electric guitar in the studio. I’m also the merchandise manager and venue director.

My wife Mary and I got married November 1st, 2025 and we live together with her service dog Shasta!

I first learned to play the bass at First Baptist Dyersburg in youth band at the age of 16 and played in that band till the age of 18. I joined the “Big Church” band at the age of 18 playing once a month or so before taking over full time the next year.

I joined 2Worship when Ollie, one of our other founders, asked me to fill in on bass at a worship night in Halls, TN and after playing Cole asked me to be a full time member of the band! I agreed and the rest is still being written!

I am still on the worship team at First Baptist Dyersburg to this day. My full time position is at the Dyersburg Electric System as a Meter Shop Test Technician where I work with revenue meters, traffic signals, transformer testing, and underground locates just to name a few things!

In my free time I enjoy playing music, playing video games and collecting and working on wrist watches and pocket knives.
